FAQs
If you have questions, feel free to submit them here and we'll upload EVERY one of them ;)
How long will my print take?
We won't know until we get your model files and upload them into our slicing software. Then, it'll tell us how long it'll take to print that single piece. Also, this process is used to find out how much an item will cost as it's priced by weight. Weight is also very accurately estimated based on the Slicing software. So, in short, it could take 20 minutes or 5 days to print.
What materials can you print in?
Right now in our stage, we can only print in low temp thermoplastics like PLA, TPU, PETG, and sometimes ABS. But! Unless your applications require metal or high temp plastics, these materials are very, very useful.
WHAT KIND OF FILES DO YOU NEED OR TAKE?
We primarily take .stl file types, but can take .step files and split them up accordingly into .stls. A common place to search for and use .stl files is https://thingiverse.com. So go check it out if you want to print something, but have no idea where to start!
WHAT'S THE LARGEST THING YOU CAN PRINT?
The largest printer we have can print objects 16"x12"x12" (LxWxH) or less. If your files are much larger than that, we can discuss options for sectioning off parts of the print and assembling them in the post-print phase, but that will take some work from our 3D design team and comes at an additional cost.
WHAT KIND OF PRINTING CAN YOU DO? DO YOU DO SLA? METAL?!
Currently, we CAN print in SLA, but it's very limited in output as we only have access to one resin printer at the moment. We primarily print in good ole fashioned FDM, and unless you need the crazy awesome resolution that SLA provides, a well calibrated FDM printer prints very well.
In the future, we'll have the capability of printing and in both aluminum and titanium and at high volumes.

WHAT BREED OF DOG IS EVA!?
She is 120lbs of Great Pyrenees with maybe a small percentage of something else in her. They're an amazing breed of dog, extremely loyal, great guards, huge cuddlers, and massive goofs. Click on the link to learn more.
CAN MY PRINT BE SANDED AND PAINTED?
Yes! Most materials that we print with can be sanded and painted with great results. The only exception is TPU. It's quite difficult to sand because of it's wonderful rubbery properties. PLA, PETG, and ABS, when printed at good resolution can be sanded and painted without any real issues.
When can I expect my order to be shipped?
Well, that depends on a couple things. 1. The size of your print which ultimately determines how long it'll take to print. As you can imagine, the smaller the print, the faster you'll get it. Full size skulls, for example, take about 48 hours to print whereas small object can take 30 minutes. In your followup email communications, it will outline the estimated print time for you and when it will hit the printer. Also, 2. How busy we are. At MOST it will be one week from the time you click to pay and when we ship. If we get slammed with business, as we currently are, we have partners that we use to get your print running and shipped to you.
